So I’m excited about this… hoping you will be too. I always wondered - how do you make food that looks (and TASTES) soooooo goooood in person - like these little beauties you see below, our fabulous corn muffins - look just as good on camera. I mean, we’re not worried about the camera adding 10 pounds here, but really - what’s the trick to making the pictures look just as good as real life? With the help of some awesome friends and family, we think we have it sort of figured out!
Our brother-in-law, Kurt is a talented photographer and has some great equipment. He loaned us a special lens and some nifty light boxes. Then came our friends Eddie and Jenn, who have a special tri-pod that lets you shoot from directly above your wonderful subject… in this case, a plate of food. Check out what the photo shoot looked like! (Obviously I was being completely unhelpful and shooting photos with my phone while everyone else was doing the work!) Here are some photos of Matt, Jenn, and Eddie working away…
And here are a couple of mouth watering shots from the “real” camera. Can’t wait for you to get to taste this food - it’s even more delicious than it looks!
